This week I select a article from National Geographic to write my reading journal.I think last book I select to read is too diffcult for me to read,
I can't really understand the mean of the book and read efficiently. So,I revise my plan to find the article from same magazines or newspapers to write
my reading journals. The topic of the article I select this week is "Alexander The Great's "Crown" Shield Discovered?"writen by Sara Goudarzi.
An ancient tomb thought to held the body of Alexander The Great's father philip II is actually that of Alexander's half brotheer. In 1977, the
archaeologists found out the three ancient royal Macedonian burials, the Tomb I is a sigle stone box containg human identified as mature male,a younger
female, and a newborn. The Tomb II is a large vaulted tomb with two chambers, contained a young woman and a mature male and remain some treasures including
some vessels, potterys,an iron helmet, and a ceremonial shieldand an object initially identified as a scepter.
Later, the archaeologists announced that the burial in the main chamber of the large rich tomb was that of Philip II,father of Alexander the Great, who
was assassinated in 336 B.C.But,their theory had been breaken today.some scientist found the new evidences to proof these treasures remain in the Tomb
II don't produce in Philip II's era,and the mature male laying in the chamber is Alexander's half brother, who had been Alexander The Great's successor.
