I had read the book which was named King Arthur,or Knights of the Round Table.This book was retold by Deborah Tempest and contained about 40 pages.It was published by PENGUIN READERS and the level was about 600 words.

The story happened in Britain between the year 400 and 600.In this period,there were a lot of fights,because people who won would be a king.One day,there was a sword which was written "Only the king can take the sword from the stone"in the stone.Nobody could do but Arthur did it.And then,King Arthur and knights of the Round Table created an all-powerful country and lots of legend.

I think the book is so interesting that everyone will been enchanted by their exciting adventures.In the story, loyalty was the most important thing.Every knight had to loyal to the king even though they needed to sacrifice their lives.I think this spirt should be learned by people because people are more selfish at present.They always betray for some advantages.

I had finished the book which was named Three Great Plays of Shakespeare.This book was retold by Karen Holmes and contained about 60 pages.It was published by PENGUIN READERS and the level was about 1700 words.The writter,Shakespeare who was one of the most important playwrights in the world.There were three stories such as Romeo and Juliet,Macbeth and King Lear in it.There were correspondence in these stories---the main characters die.

The play I most impressed was Romeo and Juliet and it might I had read the book in Chinese before.In the play,Romeo and Juliet were lovers,however,their families hated each other.Because of animosity,the story did not end happily.In the end of the story,Romeo and Juliet still could not escape from the war between their families.

After reading the play,I felt sorry for the love between Romeo and Juliet.They loved each other but they could not live together.Hates had more power than love in the play.

The book I read was named Alice In Wonderland which was contained 36 pages.This book was written by Charles Dodgson and retold by Mary Tomalin.It was published by PENGUIN READERS and the level was about 600 words.In the beginnig,Dodgen thought it was not an important book,so he publish the book under the name--Lewis Carroll.However, the book had become one of the most famous book in the world.

The summary of the book was that one summer day Alice was sitting under the tree.When she was sleepy, she saw a rabbit with a watch and ranafter it.Then they all went to a rabbit-hole.Down the rabbit-hole everything was different,so Alice began her adventure which was filled with excitement.In her adventure, she met a lot of strange thing and people such as a rabbit which hurried,a queen who wantd to cut off everybody's head,a cat which could be invisible,a special tea party and so on.However, all of above was just Alice's dream.

After reading the book,I also wanted to made a dream which was like Alice's.Alice's dream was so funny that everyone had interest in.Many people was accompanied by the book when they was in childhood.

I had been busy during this period because I had to study hard for my midterm tests.
But I still finished one book.
The book I read was named THE MUMUY which was contained about 40 pages.
This book was retold by Mike Dean.
It was published by PENGUIN READERS.
By the way,before reading the book Ihad watched the movie several times.
Therefore,when Iwas reading the book it reminded me of the story and I was familiar with what the book talking about more quickly.
Imhotep and Anck-su-namun wewe lover who lived in Egypt at the time of the Pharaoh Seti the First.
Many years later,Imhotep tried to relive with his lover but O'Connell who was a wild American solider and Evelyn who was a intelligent British woman prevented the thing.
In this book,Imost appreciate Evelyn.
Her world was books so she was filled with smart.
In addition,she always provided very usefull suggestions to slove problems.

I had only read one book during this period,because I went home without bringing any books.
The book I had read was GULLIVER'S TRAVELS.
It was written by Andy Hopkins and Jocelyn Potter and retold by Pauline Francis.
In addition, it was published by PENGUIN READERS and it contained about 600 words.
The book which introduced what happened to Gulliver when he was in travel.
Gulliver traveled to three special countries which was Lilliput,Brobdingang and Houynhnms.
Of course, these countries did not exist in the real world.
I most impressed that he went to Lillput.
He arrived a country of very,very small people.
In the beginning, people in Lillput were very afraid of Gulliver because he was so big for them.
Gulliver expressed his benevolence so people accepted him.
Because he was so big so people had to prepare a lot of thing for him.
For example,they gave him food--food for 1728 of people in Lillput.
This was an inconceivable number for me.
After reading the book,I knew that there were a lot of different people in the world,we have to agree to them with open-mindedness.

The book Iread was BRAD PITT.
This book was written by Nancy Taylor,and published by PENGUIN READERS.
Besides,the book contained about 600 words and about 22 pages so it was easy to read.
I did not spend much time reading because I was a little busy during this period.
And I will challenge more difficult book to make my English better.

Before reading the book,I just know Brad Pitt is a handsome man and a big star in the Hollywoods.
But from the book Iknew Brad Pitt made efforts to be a good actor.
He also had bad days before he became famous.
Though he starred so many movies,but I only watched a few of them.
For example, I had watched the movie which named Interview With The Interview With The Vampire .
In this movie, Brad Pitt was depressing all the time.
Because he hated to be a vampire and wanted to get rid of Leatat(Tom Cruise starred)

But I was disppointed that he divorced Jennifer Aniston and married Angelina Jolie.
I thought he was not honest to he marriage.
However, he is indeed a good actor in the world.

I have read the book which named MR.BEAN.
Although this book was simple,I spent about two weeks to read.
I think maybe I have not made it a rule.
I will make more effort.
I did not like Mr.Bean because he always did stupid things.
In addition,Idid not know why so many people thought Mr.Bean was funny.
He just did everything which would make people angry.
However, I have to say thay although he always made something wrong, he would manage to slove the problem.
In the end of the book,the plot became warm and fragrant because he save two people and retrieved David's job.
