Latter, Warren looked at his watch and said "It's time to go downstairs," he said. He took the kids to see the circus in New York City. Troupers of the circus were very funny and good, they can perform many amazing act you never seeing before. Both Warren and the kids had fun there. But when they went to Warren's house, they found the painting was stolen. And the tabletop was littered with orange juice and peels. The fruit bowl was overturned. It's a very strange scene.

Following is it's synopsis:
When Daniel Stone was a child, he was the only white boy in a native Eskimo village where his mother taught, and he was teased mercilessly because he was different. He fought back, the baddest of the bad kids: stealing, drinking, robbing and cheating his way out of the Alaskan bush ,where he honed his artistic talent, fell in love with a girl and got her pregnant. To become part of a family, he reinvented himself , jettisoning all that anger to become a docile, devoted husband and father. Fifteen years later, when we meet Daniel again, he is a comic book artist. His wife teaches Dante's Inferno at a local college; his daughter, Trixie, is the light of his life ,and a girl who only knows her father as the even-tempered, mild-mannered man he has been her whole life. Until, that is, she is date raped…and Daniel finds himself struggling, again, with a powerlessness and a rage that may not just swallow him whole, but destroy his family and his future.
"The Tenth Circle" is absolutely the thought-provoking and topical novel readers have come to expect. What comes as a surprise is just how thoroughly the book twists the reader's heart…Picoult does a bang-up job on the narrative approach she's known for. She leads readers to consider thorny issues around motives and consequences, this book is really outstanding.

In this story, I learned the way of dealing with problems. Instead of keeping our hate in mind, we should let past passed way. No matter what happened, families were still families.
And the next book I chosen is ''The Orange Outlaw ''. This book was written by Ron Roy, he is an amazing author of the A to Z mysteries series. His book let people enjoy reading. This story was about three kids' adventure of catching the painting thief. They only had some clues about orange peels and an orange hair. So how could the kids catch the crafty crook?

Following is its synopsis.
Anna is not sick, but she might as well be. By age thirteen, she has undergone countless surgeries, transfusions, and so that her older sister, Kate, can somehow fight the leukemia that has plagued her since childhood. The product of preimplantation genetic diagnosis, Anna was conceived as a bone marrow match for Kate - a life and a role that she has never questioned… until now. Like most teenagers, Anna is beginning to question who she truly is. But unlike most teenagers, she has always been defined in terms of her sister ,and so Anna makes a decision that for most would be unthinkable… a decision that will tear her family apart and have perhaps fatal consequences for the sister she loves. My Sister's Keeper examines what it means to be a good parent, a good sister, a good person. Is it morally correct to do whatever it takes to save a child's life… even if that means infringing upon the rights of another? Is it worth trying to discover who you really are, if that quest makes you like yourself less?
I think the author vividly evokes the physical and psychic toll, and it's a complex subject with bravado, everybody should not miss it!

it's a story about romance.
In the novel .a young woman,Scarlett O'hara ,tells everyone
that she is in love with a man, named Ashley Wilkes. But there is
another man ,Rhett Butler, who has a powerful effect on her,and
it is not until Rhett decides to leave that Scarlett realizes who
she truly loves. The book is about truth and imagination. What
we believe we are is not necessarily what we really are.
In addition to the love story,I also appriciate the philosophy
of Scarlett .For her, "tomorrow is another day. "When I am in the
low mood,I always tell myself that tomorrow will be a better day.
Reading "Gone With The Wind"is not only for pleasure ,but also a
good reminder of this truth about tomorrow.

I borrowed a new one from library, which were named "CALEB'S STORY". The writer was Patricia Maclachlan, she was the author of many beloved novels for young readers, and several picture books. The story was talking about Caleb and the journal Anna gave him. Anna wanted Caleb to fill the journal, to write down their family's story. Caleb thought it was hard to find things to write, but after his little sister, Cassie saw a mysterious old man in the barn, everything changed.

which is called "The Phantom of the Opera"
I started reading this book because there was a movie version of the Phantom of the Opera, and also a musical of it at the Broadway. It sounded interesting and attractive .
To tell the truth, I was rather confused by the story. Leroux had used first person tense in some parts of the story, as if he was there at the opera, trying to find out if the Opera Ghost really existed. Moreover, by weaving in the characters that actually existed in history into the story, Leroux made the story sound very realistic; however, it may not be a good thing to sound so realistic, because from time to time, I would have to think very hard about whether the Phantom of the Opera and this story had existed in reality, or just in one's imagination? All in all, I think I would rather choose to believe that the story is fictional, since it would be too awful if anything like this actually happened.
Most of the story's climaxes are at the middle of the book.I believe that Christine Daae loved the opera ghost, Erek, as much as she loved Raoul, the Vicomte de Chagny. I felt the opera ghost is a person that worth sympathy.Despites his overwhelmed talents, he is ugly-looking,so he can only live underneath the theatrer, lives a dark life that no one knows him. However, the end when he still let the person he loves so much to pursuit her true love is so touching and shows his capacious heart to sacrifice himself.

I want to finish this book, then to see the movie. Many people say that novel is always
more touching than movie. But I found it difficult to make it. The novel's vocabulary
extremely exceeded my own. Because the first two weeks, I had some tests for the
last semester, now I merely read ten pages, but I looked up dictionary
many times. I listed the word I didn't understand, there were 80 words now, only in ten
pages. I could not enjoy in the reading process, so I felt like chaning books.
The story I read so far was about the leading man's memory. From some word, I guess
that he lost his best friend in that past. I sensed his regret and desire to make up.
In the retrospect, his best friend was his father's servant's son. They were carefree
