Christopher explains why gives the chapters prime numbers,he say that prime numbers are like life. They are very logical but you chould never work out the rules, even if you spent all your time thinking about that.Actually,he likes thinking, but he cann't really understand others thinkings, he cann't understand abstract things. So,he likes science and maths, because they just need to think by oneself.I think he is a genius,a dreamer,a murder mystery novel writer.

The girl,Rosaura,in this stroy is an innocence and claver child, her mother is a maid who is working for a rich family. One day she was invited by Luciana, the daughter of the rich family,to the birthday party.Rosaura was gald, but her mother did not want her to attend the party, saying that it was rich people's party;she and Luciana were not real friends. She didn't approve of her mother and was deeply offended,"I'll die if I don't go"she whispered.
The party went well that night, she thought she was the same as other rich children and she help serve orange juice, hotdogs, and cake, she really acted well. She was so pleased with the compliment.Rosaura knew that there is a present to every child who attend this party,a while later, her nother came to fetch her,Luciana' mother came up to Rosaura and her mother, instead of giving her a presnent, she rummaged in her purse,in her hand appeared two bills, for thanking her help.Rosaura felt her arms stiffen, her eyes had a cold, clear look that fixed itself on Luciana's mother.Luciana's mother only motionless,as if the slightest change might shatter an infinitely delicate balance.
Children and adults are differ in their views of others,Rosaura think she and Luciana are friends, they know each other's secrets;do homework together, but in her mother's eyes, they are from different world. They conflicted.
At the end of the story.Rosaura has lost some of her innocence or naive. She finally realize why her mother said they are not friends because of the differ of their social classes.Like her mother, probably she will become more skeptical, amd less likely to believe people.
Experiences always change our attitude toward others.Sometimes they cause people to be more cynical and question the sincerity of those around us.We were thaught to bass our views on money and social classes, and learn that's how this world works, and then,we grow up.

it's a story about romance.
In the novel .a young woman,Scarlett O'hara ,tells everyone
that she is in love with a man, named Ashley Wilkes. But there is
another man ,Rhett Butler, who has a powerful effect on her,and
it is not until Rhett decides to leave that Scarlett realizes who
she truly loves. The book is about truth and imagination. What
we believe we are is not necessarily what we really are.
In addition to the love story,I also appriciate the philosophy
of Scarlett .For her, "tomorrow is another day. "When I am in the
low mood,I always tell myself that tomorrow will be a better day.
Reading "Gone With The Wind"is not only for pleasure ,but also a
good reminder of this truth about tomorrow.

This time I choose a children's book that is named Charlotte's Web. Charlotte's Web is a children's book by acclaimed American author E. B. White. First published in 1952, it tells the story of a barn spider named Charlotte and her friendship with a pig named Wilbur. The book was illustrated by Garth Williams. To get to know what kind of books foreign children will read in their daily lives, I choose this book, which is recommended by my classmate.
Charlotte's Web is an animal fable that deals with several important aspects of a happy life: friendship, heroism, constancy, and death. Wilbur is hyperactive and always exploring new things. This book begins when John Arable's sow gives birth to a litter of piglets, and Mr. Arable discovers one of them is a runt and decides to kill it. However, his 8 year old daughter Fern begs him to let it live. Therefore her father gives it to Fern as a pet, and she names the runt Wilbur. It's a pity that I didn't finish it yet due to the continuous holidays, but I will finish the last part because it's interesting!

Book title : The Secret Garden

The novel belongs to a series named "Oxford Bookworms Library".
This simplified edition was published on 2000.
This story talks about a little girl, Mary Lennox. She originally born and lived in India. Her parents were always busy with their own things, and only her servants kept company with her. It seemed that nobody cared about her. But when her parents died of a serious disease, she was sent back to England to live her uncle's home in Yorkshire. Mary primarily never thought about other people, but only herself. In fact, she was bad-tempered, selfish and disagreeable. When Mary move to her uncle's house, which is big, old and full of many secret. She met some people, and the way they treat her is different from those she used to know. Mary began to adapt to the life in Yorkshire, and at the same time she was learning and changing little by little. After she found the secret garden's key and entered it to take care of plants there, she also found that the child, who often cried in the night, is Colin, her uncle's son. Mary and Dickon, who she made friend with in Yorkshire, helped ill poor Colin get out to breath fresh air and took him to the secret garden. They had much happy time in the garden. In the end, because of Mary and Dickon's help, Colin became health, and found back the love between he and his father.
The author, France Eliza Hodgson Burnett, was born in England in 1849. When she was sixteen, her family moved to USA, and made their home in Knoxville, Tennessee. There, she began to write stories for magazines, and after marrying in 1873, she went on writing stories for both adults and children. "Little Lord Fauntleroy" in 1886, made her famous, and in 1905 came another book , "A Little Princess". "The Secret Garden" came out in 1910. By that time Burnett had two homes ─ a house in Kent, in the south of England, and a house on Long Island in USA, where she died in 1924. Today, most people think "The Secret Garden" is Burnett's best book. In this story the children are more like real children ─ they are selfish and disagreeable, they shout and get angry, they learn and change. The idea for this book came to Burnett from the old rose garden at her home in Kent, where she made friends, like Mary in the story, with a robin that came to take bread from her hand. The story is still a great favourite with children, who love the idea of a secret place that adult do not know about. And this story had been adapted to movie many times.

The novel describes the childhood of Kathy H, a young woman of 31, focusing at first on her youth at an unusual boarding school and
eventually, her adult life. The story takes place in a dystopian britain, in which human beings are cloned to provide donor organs for
transplants. Kathy and her classmates have been created to be donors, though the adult Kathy is temporarily working as a "carer,"
someone who supports and comforts donors as they are made to give up their organs and, eventually, submit to death.
"above excerpt from the introduction of the book"
The novel can be divided into three parts, chronicling the three phases of the lives of its main characters

Because I had to return the book"The Count of Monte Cristo" to the library, I change the book I read. This time I choosed the book "Pride And Prejudice".It was written by Jane Austen. The reason that I choosed the book was that it was a famous book and I had read it in Chinese when I was little. So I thought it might be fun to read it in English.
There were 581 pages in the book "Pride And Prejudice".And I had read 60 pages for the two weeks. There was a Bennet family.Mr.Bennet and Mrs.Bennet had five daughters .The only life goal for Mrs.Bennet was to look for good husbinds for her five daughters. And the most important thing was that the man who would like to marry her daughter needed to have fortune. And one day , they had new neighbors. The young man ,Mr. Bingley, had a big fortune and was single. So Mrs.Bennet was very excited. She tried a lot of ways to introduce her daughters to Mr.Bingley.And fortunately, Mr.Bingly hold a party to invite a lot of single girls neighborhood. And he thought the eldest daughter of Bennet family ,Jane, was very beautiful. At the same time,Jane liked Mr.Bingley.
The book was really fun while the beginning was not that fun at all.But it let me felt the content was better and better .And that made me to want to continue my reading.I would like to enjoy the book.

Through this two week, I decided to change the book I read. Because I thought the last book was too difficult to me. The book now I am reading is named The Bluest Eyes. It was written by Toni Morrison and originally published in 1970. My classmate introduced me this book, and borrows me the book. Toni Morrison is an American author and Nobel Prize recipient. This is her first novel, talking about racial hatred and historical memory.
The story focus on an 11-year-old black girl named Pecola Breedlove. Pecola's father drinks, her mother is distant, and two of them often beat each other. Pecola believes that if she had blue eyes, she would be loved and her life would get better. I think this book can make us thinking about the issue of racial and racial equality. I wish I can keep reading and learn something from this book.

I have finished 《The Hunchback of Natre Dame》recently. It's easier for me to read.
The Hunchback of Notre Dame is originally named 《Notre Dame de Paris》, because the backround story happened at Paris's most famous gothic cathedral. This Novel was written by Victor Hugo .
The main characters name is Quasimodo, he was named by his cruel guardian the owner of the cathedral Claude Frollo. From the moment he was born Frollo had trapped him the belle tower . Although he was in that bad enviroment, he grew up to be a kind-hearted young man .One time when a festival was held, Quasimodo met Esmeralda who had not only caught the instrest of Quasimodo, but even Frollo , thus the sad story starts.
The book's most touching part is that Hugo had used the book to criticize the darkness and the unfairness. Although Quasimodo was born ugly, he had a kind heart, reflecting to that, the cathedral owner Frollo had an ugly heart.
《The Hunchback of Notre Dame》is not only made into an animated cartoon, but was also made into a musical, and both are very popular. Although it is a sad ending, I still love it.
