I've finished "The Egypt Game" at last.
This book also has happy ending like many books.
After reading it over,I feel as if relieved of a heavy load.
Because all the doubtful points were clear and can make us laugh.
They caught the murder, So that they can play outside relieved.
Most of all,April and all the Egyptian are good friends in the end.


This book has 215 pages,even though I wanted to give it up on occasion,I still finished it with my backbone.

Maybe it seemed difficult to read it at first,but finally I can read it fluently.I think that is the biggest harvest for me.

Now I feel that reading English books is fun, and it will improve my readind skill,too.

I still read "The Egypt Game."

After two boys' concernment,the game became more interesting.
Unfortunately, Elizabeth's parakeet was killed by a cat.
Even though she felt brokenhearted, Egyptian still had a good idea.
They wanted to hold a sacred ceremony and to bury the parakeet.

I admire their ideas very much and I feel a little envy them.
Because the game seems interesting and special.
Most of all, I like the ancient Egypt due to it's mysterious custom.
After reading the book, I always imagine that I also participate this game.
And I really hope I can back to my childhood to play some games like that.

The book I read still is "The Egypt Game."
I have introduced it for many weeks and I feel a little tired about typing the RJ with the same story.
For this reason, I think that my reading journal may have a little boring.


The story was ended in two boys who inrushed to the Egypt game at the last time.
Now, I will tell you what happened next.
The members in the Egypt game was angry for boys' intrusion.
Most of all, boys might divulge the secret.
Finally, one of the members named Elizabeth had a way to solve it.
She asked two boys to keep the secret and admitted them to join the Egypt game.
I think that is the best approach to solve this problem.
Also, two guys accepted it.


On the other hand,April received her mother's letter.
Her mother still couldn't take her home, so she had to live with her grandmother unceasingly.
April missed her mother very much,and she couldn't help bursting into tears.
I hope that April can live with her mother again not for long.

The book I choose to read is "The Egypt Game." Because of the midterm, I haven't spent much time reading it, but I think that I have finished half of the book. Now, three girls and the little boy planed to went out to play the Egypt game. Because a boy was extraordinary killed, they couldn't went out for fear that they might stuck in danger. However, an opportunity was coming. Halloween! So they used the day wore their Egypt costume and left the people furtively so that they could go on their game. Everything is successful until the bad thing happened. Two bad guys in school found them and derided them. What will happen next? This book always makes me feel curious and exciting. After the exam, I will keep on it and finish it as soon as possible.

The book which I have read for many days is" The Egypt Game."
I have introduced it in RJ2,but I forgot to write down its publish year.
The book was copyrighted in 1967 by Zilpha Keatley Snyder.

Now, I have read it for 92 pages.
The girls,April and Melanie,played Egypt game with the role of priest.
Both of them were 12 years old.
And Melanie's younger brother,Marshall,joined them.
He played the part of Pharaoh in the game.
But he is only 4.

Besides, after a semester,a new neighbor was coming.
A mother and three daughters.
The oldest daughter named Elizabeth,about nine years old,also joined them.
However,something terrible happened.
A boy,who was extraordinary killed and was found in the dismal.
That made everyone lived there feel frightened.

Well,what will happen next?

Now I have started my second book named "The Egypt Game."
It was written by Zilpha Keatley Snyder and published by Dell Yearling.
Besides, the book was three-time "Newbery Honor" winner.
"Newbery Honor" can be traced back to 1921,the first time it was given.
Because of an 18th publisher and seller of children's books in England named John

Newbery.
Therefore this is a nice book for children.

This book is not like my first reading book.
This is more difficult for me because there are many words that I'm not familiar with.
Especially this book has many proper noun about Egypt.
Moreover,the book has 215 pages.
I think it is a nice challenge for me and it can discipline my patience.

The book described two girls,April Hall and Melanie Ross.
Both of them like to play imaging games,so they start to play Egypt game.
But strange things begin happening.
Even though I haven't finished this book yet, I can also feel nervous now.
I will keep on reading it. Go!

My Reading Journal 1 E組，吳曼綾

The book I choosed is " The Mysterious Island."
It was written by Jules Verne and published by Penguin Readers.
The book only has 600 words,and has some pictures, so I thought it is easier for me.
Becides, the vocabulary in this book is not too difficult for me,
so I could read it for about ten pages in half an hour.
And I could keep reading it in a good mood.

I had finished this book in three days.
The book talked about an island that is mysterious.
Men,a boy,and a dog got to there and something strange happened.
It made me feel so curious that I couldn't stop reading it.
In the end of the book,I understood what's wrong with the island.
And I could stop my curiosity finally.

Now I've started another book called "The Egypt Game."
I think it's also mysterious.
Well, curiousness again!
