My Reading Journal 2 G組 高千涵

I finished reading the book " Charlotte's Web" yesterday. The end of the story is so moving and warm-hearted that I cried. I admire the spider, Charlotte, for she sacrificed his life to safe her good friend, Wilber. Despite the fact that Charlotte was pregnant and she knew that she will be unable to act as well as usual after she made the eggs. The most impressing dialogue in the story"Why did you do all this for me? " Wilber asked. " I don't deserve it. I've never done anything for you." "You have been my friend," replied Charlotte. "I wove my webs for you because I liked you." When I read the sentences above, my tear can't help but rolling down. And there are also some funny dialogue: "You would live longer" said the old sheep, "if you ate less. "Ha Ha Ha.
After Charlotte died, Wilber promised to take care of her children and let them know—their mother was brilliant, beautiful and loyal to the end.
I see the power between Wilber and Charlotte's friendship. I think none of the new spider ever quite took her place in Wilber's heart.
